Dr. Jack Shea, OD

Warning: Stay away. Problematic conducts from the optometrist, Jack Shea. I brought my 6-YO daughter here for a vision check, and I deeply regret that decision. The optometrist, Jack Shea, placed his hands ON our DAUGHTER’S thighs during his conversations with her. He didn’t just do it just once, but TWICE, within moments. So, I had to stop him in the act. Our daughter is only a child, but that does not excuse this type of behavior. If he cannot do that to a woman, he should not do that to a little girl, either. The above is the biggest issue, but there are also some miscellaneous, lesser issues. For example, when he asked our child questions, he did it with fast, intense energy and invaded her space, frequently bringing his face close to hers. This is very overwhelming to a child. Sometimes, our child could not understand his questions (or perhaps she was overwhelmed by his demeanor?).
