I would give her a 0 if I could. She is rude and non empathetic. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is robotic and a very cold.

Rude and sarcastic. When ansering a question about sleep habits she cut me off mid sentence, rolled eyes and in loud sarcastic tone said "I meant in general " (I was taking about 5-10 seconds to answer) Much more I could tell you. Very unprofessional!

She has my son's history on file. I also gave copies of IEP, notes, and information on my child's rare disorder. She had to change things in her report that she omitted & questioned me why he isn't receiving a certain therapy, he was, it was in all info given & her previous report. she didn't know my son was evaluated the 2nd day or by whom. She also compared him to another pt, w/ same dx, no 2 ppl manifest the same. There is more, but running out of room.

I was very unsure about the process when we were referred to Dr. Smet. (Two full testing days and a parent meeting later) But it was wonderful. Dr Smet and Nicki were amazing with my daughter who has been struggling for years with no answers. Dr Smet was able to pinpoint her diagnoses (which everyone had missed!) and explain it to me with compassion, grace and encouragement. My daughter has always told everyone she dreams of being a doctor someday and now she may be able to achieve it!
