While we ultimately decided to go with a different provider after a few months, the initial reason we chose Ms. Thomas was addressed and progress was made. As a parent, I had no difficulties communicating with Ms. Thomas, but most times things felt rushed. Overall, treatment was effective for what we needed at the time.

She did not like answering too many questions on the phone that concern parents . She had to be told that we have met our deductible or else would have charged us for out of pocket costs. Encouraged us to consider the thought of having our child take meds on the initial visit to address anxiety. She does not offer the services that are stated on her website. She would not collaborate with the school and give tips to educators for the child to improve and does not believe in e mail use when email can be encrypted. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME WITH HER PRACTICE!

Despite my child having a learning disability that required the most in class time possible, Dr. Thomas scheduled around her availability which was extremely limited outside of school hours. When I mentioned the difficulty he was encountering when missing instructional time, her comment was that other kids came during those hours, other kids who were "interested in getting better". We invested many months with Dr Thomas with little to no results, our new counselor has made a world of differenc
