Everyone has heard of or experienced firsthand the type of medical professional that thinks their couple extra years of schooling has exalted them to some sort of divine position. You know the type--arrogant, patronizing, and unwilling to listen to anything the patient has to say that does not align with their ideas. These are the type of doctors/nps who get people killed. Thankfully, I recognized her callous hubris, sought a second opinion, and fixed my problems. Listen to your patients, Iris.
