Do not recommend for couples counseling
Short version - do not recommend for couples counseling if you suspect you are in an abusive relationship. I don’t think she has the expertise to identify dangerous situations, and she continued seeing my abuser solo after our couples counseling ended. As well, after I stopped seeing her, I called her desperate for help after being threatened with rape by my abuser, and she still could not believe there was any abuse in the relationship.
