I had been trauma dumping to her with my issues and she had laughed about them and told me she was uninterested in how unimportant they were to her.

Thinks it’s cool to make fun of patients on TikTok who have trusted in her to share their trauma. It is completely irresponsible to make your clients feel like they can't be 100% transparent with you. Also If you, a trauma therapist can’t handle people’s trauma, find a different career path.

Therapists that publicly mock their patients should find another profession.

This woman used social media as a platform to shame and degrade the clients who trusted her by seeking her help working through their trauma. The fact that this despicable woman worked with troubled youth sickens me to my core. I can only imagine how much damage she has done.

It’s really disappointing in this day and age to see a “therapist” get online and complain about their patients doing what all patients with trauma do. Therapists should be helping de-stigmatize mental health and trauma, but Ilene decided to be a part of the problem instead of being helpful. She is unprepared for her chosen field in trauma. Do not speak with this woman if you truly want to get better. Family member she sees saw her video & was horrified by the content of "trauma dumping." Wish there was an option to give zero stars.

Talks about her clients on the internet which breaks the confidentiality rule, also doesn’t want clients to “traumadump” on her, which I thought was the point? Makes me feel like a burden for venting to my therapist.

She posts about her sessions all over TikTok complaining about her clients. I’ve never seen a “therapist” so unprofessional.

It seemed like she was really uninterested in hearing what I had to say. Almost like my mental health was really not at all that important to her. She made me feel like opening up to her was burdensome to her. She listened to me but she didn’t really hear anything I said. She actually seemed so relieved when it was over and she didn’t have to sit through and listen to anymore of my problems. It was already difficult enough for me to seek out help and trust a professional to get the help I desperately need, but honestly this has taken me backwards in healing. If a therapist isn’t even interested in me or helping me learn how to deal with and work through my trauma, what hope do I have left? I feel more hopeless now then I ever did.

This therapist shows very little professionalism and gets easily upset by her clients. Any therapist who forbids patients from talking about certain topics because they find them “uncomfortable” is not cut out to be a therapist.

This woman thinks it's acceptable to publicly state to viewing audiences that it is not OK to discuss trauma and dismay with their theripist first session, implied that it was inappropriate and non-consensual regardless of holding a license and private practice while advertising herself as a trauma therapist. Why someone who went to school to listen to people's problems would go back and tell the world that she thinks "trauma dumping first session" is something to be ashamed of, really makes me think she needs to stay off tiktok and maybe find a new profession if people's problems inconvenience you so much, especially if she feels justified and unashamed being so vocal about it.
