I was raped and sought medical treatment. The social worker at the hospital referred me to a few therapists. I picked Holly our of the list, and went as soon as possible. The first visit was ok.. It was just a meet and greet. I was in a constant fog, and survival mode. So i was patient with myself and Holly. She answered the phone multiple times on the first visit and left 2 times to speak to her boyfriend on the porch. The office was in a victorian in down town sc with big open windows. The next 6 months would get no better. She often left the visit, never gave me 100% attention. What is worse she was impatient, unkind and unrealistic. She had large windows that looked out to a courtyard of coffee shop goers. She didnt shut any of the 4 windows. She mocked me for crying and when I was not wanting to share to much emotion due to the window being open and the people looking at me she mocked me again. She was immature, inexperienced and uncaring. Not a therapist for someone in need.
