Most good therapists will talk to you on the phone for 10-15 minutes BEFORE you come onsite to see if there is a connection and if it makes sense to move forward. Helen spent maybe 5 minutes and pushed for the onsite appt and I relented. She had me talk the entire time and she kept losing track of things I told her and asked me to repeat things a few times which is frustrating. I thought, in the end, she would recap the convo and give some sort of plan to action. Not only was it a waste of my time and money, she couldn't be bothered sending me an invoice when I asked her twice.
