Heidi did my first ever GYN exam. I have a history of abuse, which I put in my chart history, but she didn't review it. I told her it was my first exam, but she didn't do a good job talking me through it, and just didn't seem to care. During the exam, she asked why I was crying, and if I'd been abused. When I said yes, she was rude about it and said I should've told her. She should've known that people with a history of abuse may be afraid to discuss it. For me, she was not a very compassionate provider.
