Heidi Desimone, APRN

This review is for Heidi Desimone at the CBOC. She interacts professionally and seems well-informed on the acronyms of mental health modalities, but her approach to her patients is not personable or genuine. As a patient, I have left her office feeling like a number to bump up her positive statistics, and not as a human or individual. I as well as other veterans have not felt she truly cares for us as individuals or our well-being, and thus have not been able to have a productive professional relationship w her. She goes through a litany of 'required' questions for her paperwork and follows protocols laid out by regulation, instead of presenting herself in appts as a clinician with whom to have a frank one-on-one discussion. I have not felt that she listens sincerely or that I can trust her as my provider to do what's best for me and my life, and that she will choose protocol over common sense.
