When I shared how I felt about a sensitive topic, she laughed at me. I wasn't telling a joke or trying to be funny. I was shocked and insulted. She was very insensitive and unprofessional. She also started talking about herself and her personal life, and telling me what to do based on her own experience. A good therapist shouldn't talk about themselves or tell someone what to do. It's not all about her. I felt like she is not a good therapist, she just talks to you like you are friends hanging out at the coffee shop. I also asked for help about something that she had no clue about.
