In April, she told me I was fine, just allergies, even though I said I had a cough & shortness of breath, like a cat was sitting on my chest. Didn't test for strep, flu, covid, or RSV, even though I specifically said I wanted to be sure I wasn't contagious, because I work with the general public. So there wasn't wheezing that she heard, but cough is indeed an asthma presentation. I had to come back a week later and demand other medication options. The Asthma flare lasted over 2 months. If we had tested, perhaps I could have avoided so many weeks of illness. However, I have seen her occasionally in the past, and she didn't strike me as terrible before, just average good. So maybe she had a bad day (or month).
