Opposite of a Professional
I went in for a health concern, told her what I’d thought the problem was, and had gotten bloodwork done. Receive a call saying “your blood work came back and everything is perfectly fine!” I ask to see it, hahaha what do you know it was not fine. The problem that id said I was concerned about was the ONLY test that was not in the reference range, when I’d confronted her about why she said that my blood work was fine when it was clearly not her response was “I determined 27 is too young to start this medicine”THANK GOD I am inquisitive and stubborn and wanted to know for myself what the LAB work had shown bc If I’d have trusted her who knows how long I’d have lingered with these issues. At this point I’d been suffering from symptoms for a year ! This experience still infuriates me to reflect on bc she deliberately refused to help me and lied and ya I always thought she was rude and unhelpful however THIS is unacceptable. She doesn’t have your best interests in mind

I came in due to persistent shoulder pain for the past few weeks. Heather performed a thorough exam with range of motion, muscular, and visual tests. Tentatively listened to my (long winded!) explanation of what movements made the pain worsen. She wrote follow up prescriptions for physical therapy and an x-ray as well as anti-inflammatory meds. She also scheduled age appropriate tests that I've been avoiding but need to get done. I don't quite understand the negative comments about her as she's always seemed professional, thorough, and cordial when I've came in for an appointment over the past several years. Great nurse practitioner, I'd most certainly recommend Heather and would schedule with her again without reservation.

She is absolutely terrible. She has no bedside manner and she is condescending. I went it and was diagnosed with a UTI. She then said she wanted to draw blood so I walked over to the lab. I never received a follow up or any results, just a bill for $1,525.00 which is ludicrous. I find this approach to rack up a bill with no explanation or anything ahead of time is very irresponsible on her behalf, especially when I never received any results or further diagnosis. Basically, a regular office visit for a UTI turned into $1,525 in charges?? Simply ridiculous. I would NEVER recommend her and I will never go to that practice again.

Heather Martin is very VERY judgemental. Sure she is professional but she lacks the ability to be nice. She always gives glares and looks you up and down to make you uncomfortable. She also doesn’t hesitate to make any snarky comments on her mind. By far one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a doctor’s office. Would not recommend.

The only real good thing I can say about Heather is that it's easy to get an appointment. However, that might only be because no one else wants to see her either. Just because she smiles when she says it, doesn't mean that what she's saying isn't condescending and judgmental. I tried twice to make sure she wasn't having an off day the first time. No. She ticked me off even more the second time. I won't be back. She might be a very good doctor, but as a human, she's lacking.

I find Heather Martin NP to be excellent. I love the care and attention that she pays to my needs. I was hesitant to see an NP instead of an MD. So glad that I took the chance!

She is so incredibly judgemental and rude I can't even honestly put it into words. The only reason I saw her was because the actual DOCTOR was booked up for weeks and I was having asthmatic problems that could not wait. She doesn't listen at all to what you're saying and when I asked to get blood work checked-she refused. After many persistant phone calls , she FINALLY wrote the order. Additionally, I have PERICARDITIS and this "nurse" has been writing it off as "anxiety" for MONTHS. She sucks

Judgemental, doesn't listen at all to what you say. One of the worst, most condescending medical professionals I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. I won't be going back.
