I was 3-4 minutes late to an appointment for an infection needing a prescription for antibiotics. I took time off from work to make the appointment. I got caught behind a crane causing me to miss two green lights due to its slow acceleration. I called the receptionist indicating that I'd be 3-4 minutes late. The receptionist admitted me, paid my copay. The parking lot was empty; the waiting room was empty (as I commented to the receptionist). What happens? Ms. Hannon calls the receptionist to have her inform me that because I was late that I would have to reschedule my appointment- but fear not! I could take more time off from to make the appointment tomorrow! How many times, how many hours have I waited for my medical appointment when the office is running late????? This is unacceptable!!!! Oh and when I call CMC the message to callers is 'to insure the highest level of service'. What a joke!
