Pleasant enough individual. However, I must rate a pain management practitioner's effectiveness based upon the only criteria that matters- am I still in pain? Yes I am. Her job is to manage my pain. It is still unmanaged & just as horrible as it was when I walked into her office. I expect to see better when I leave the optometrist's. I expect my teeth to be better when I leave the dentist. I expect my pain to be better when I leave the pain management clinic.

I was referred to Southern Colorado Pain Management by my primary physician because he could not provide me the care I needed for managing my pain. From the moment I first saw Havalah she treated me with disdain. I explained everything I had tried for my pain, including a narcotic that just wasn't working. Instead of working with me, she kept me on the same narcotic that wasn't working. Eventually I had injections in my lower back that did not offer me any relief. I have been so put off by this experience that I haven't returned to see her or any other doctor for my pain.
