Dr. Gretchen Ladd, PHD

I saw Gretchen Ladd for a few months. During my first appointment, she appeared to be heart warming and eager to help. As time passed on, I noticed I was not receiving any helpful insight from her. When I asked her questions about her insight, she responded by stating she has a lot of experience and redirected me to her website. I noticed she is eager to tell the world and me her past experience which should qualify her input to be helpful. But it wasn’t. She seems to be more interested rooting her own horn than helping me out. I gave up on her and I told her I will no longer be her patient. She became very hostile to me and made hurtful comments towards me. She even used my trauma against me! Unprofessional and shocking. I wasted a lot of time and a lot of money and got no where.

I was incorrectly diagnosed by Dr. Ladd. Her notes were contradicting and inconsistent. She was also very pushy and unwelcoming. I saw 2 other psychologists to help diagnosis me with the condition she “claimed” to have found. Both psychologists disagreed to her findings.

I saw Dr. Ladd for over a year when I needed help with difficult relationships with my partner and family. I felt extremely safe with her, and I was able to work through some traumatic experiences with her help.
