Never had a psychiatrist ghost me before!
Telehealth
I saw Dr. Ngumi a few times over telehealth, which is what I prefer. I was looking for a new psychiatrist after I was not getting anywhere with my previous. The first visit was very short, under 15 minutes, and so were all subsequent appointments. Most of our sessions averaged to about 5 minutes, while we were trialing different treatments. But then it came time for a refill and my pharmacy was unable to reach her. After a few attempts on their end, I called the office myself, and the coordinator told me he would let her know I needed a refill.It's been three weeks and I have not heard a word from her. I've called the office twice more and they tell me she'll reach out. She has not. This was VERY dangerous, and caused a very bad emotional breakdown due to having no medication randomly. My PCP had to step in and send a prescription. I am APALLED. That is not only unprofessional but EXTREMELY dangerous. Absolutely do not go to this office overall, but especially not her.
