During a critical time when my mother needed a kidney transplant, we encountered an unprofessional and unhelpful staff member named Gloria. We had two potential donors lined up, yet Gloria offered little to no assistance in facilitating the process.Despite my pleas for help while facing a very stressful situation, Gloria's response was dismissive and, at times, even rude. Thankfully, after multiple complaints, my mother was able to receive a transplant. However, the experience with Gloria caused unnecessary worry and frustration during a critical time.This review serves to warn others about the potential for similar encounters and highlight the importance of patient advocacy.

Gloria has been a member of my care team for a little over a year now and has been nothing short of helpful and rising to my every need and communication.

Gloria is a superb professional. I am a post liver transplant patient at Weill Cornell NYPH and she has assisted me in numerous ways, most recently through a fatty liver education/awareness program initiated by Dr Brandman at WC NYPH. Her knowledge, demeanor and personal interest in my well being has been an integral part of my recovery and my ongoing journey with liver transplant. She has great empathy and in short, an A+ health care professional.

Gloria was newer to the team right after my liver transplant. From the moment I met her, she has been a joy. She a calm energy which feels supportive and genuine. She listens to me and my concerns. She is so responsive to messages and will follow up to make sure you’re feeling great. She gets in touch with my other doctors if need be. I could not say enough nice things about Gloria! If you’re lucky enough to have her, you will enjoy your experience :)

Gloria spent a lot of time listening to, and answering, all of my questions. She reviewed my chart, test results and follow-up plans. Between visits, she is extremely responsive to communications through the patient portal and even called on the phone, late in the afternoon, to follow-up with me.
