My family has been seeking bilingual group therapy for months but we have had a multitude of serious life changes so it’s been difficult to set an appointment that everyone could attend. Ms. Ayala- St. Charles spoke dismissively to my mother and without giving her a chance, told her we would not “be a good fit” due to the fact that we hadn’t yet set an appointment. She does not have a PsyD and it’s almost laughable that she had the audacity to speak to her the way she did. Unhelpful, next.

If you are not open to hearin gthe truth and not willing to change then she is not for you. She gives practical real life advice and even has some of the conversations you have had with yourself out loud. SHe will not sugar coat so if you are bad with receiving feedback and constructive criticism this is not the place for you if you need hear what you want to and not what you need to.

Very direct but gives practical methods for improvement. I love that she does not tell me what I want to hear. I go to her for her expertise since obviously I couldn't work things out on my own.
