Brought my daughter in for a possible broken foot, was told it was a sprain and to take ibuprofen and ice it. When asked about taking an xray to be sure, she said they don't do that if there is no trauma. We reminded her of a fall my daughter had in dance 3 days before and the crack she heard when it happened. This was ignored. A week later it was getting worse, went to her PCP, and xrays showed a clear fracture. My daughter was walking on a broken foot for almost 2 weeks because of this PA.
