I want to thanks all my wonderful patients for 30 years of practice. I have learned a lot and help a lot of individual reach their potential.

On good advice I had already made up my mind not to get too attached to the idea of any one counselor until I had tried out at least a few different people. I was ready to give up finding someone good when I started seeing Gilles. I was in the midst of a lot of different problems in my life and I was having an especially difficult time committing to my job. Needless to say I’ve found it has become easier to accept my decision in my career and to make a decision as to whether stay or leave. I continue to see him because he has been understanding, encouraging and non-judgmental. Finding a great counselor is no easy task, don’t give up til you find the perfect fit! I have been seeing Gilles for about a year or so now and I plan to continue to do so :)

Honestly, I'm upset because me and my husband were starting to open up to him and came up disappointed in the end. We had been seeing him for about 2 months now and had a standing appointment for 10am Thursday which worked well with our busy schedule. Last minute last week he gave our slot to someone else and the night before the appointment, told us we were at 11am without even discussing it with us. We then told him we would have to reschedule and then we didn't hear from him for a week. The next week an hour before our original appointment he texts us about our standing appointment, very unprofessional. I was livid and refused to give him our business, but my husband wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt because he made a mistake. So we went to the appointment and my husband politely asked about our standing appointment. Gilles proceeded to blame us for not continuing texting him about the appointment and took no responsibility on his part about the scheduling mistake.

Our first session went well. I appreciated his humor and his transparency. The second session did not. I was late & in tears. He jumped from one therapeutic technique to another and I felt discombobulated, powerless & inept. I left feeling numb. This has been a horrific year and I am shattered . I texted that I'm not ready for his level of therapy but would like to return for couple's counseling when I am more stable. No response. Ever. A confirmation: I'm not worth the effort. Not cool, Gilles.

I am so glad I came to see Gilles M. He has helped me so much. I certainly recommend him to others.
