Dr. Bayer was the first Psychologist either of us had EVER seen. We saw Dr. Gary Bayer at Clark Tower in Memphis, TN. My wife (of 30 plus years at the time) and I saw Dr. Bayer over a couple of years. We originally saw Dr. Bayer as a couple seeking help to better understand my Mom, whom had come to live with us over the summer. My mother suffered from the beginning stages of Dementia. We were so pleased with the guidance and advice we received from Dr. Bayer! Using Dr. Bayer's "alternative ways to view my Mom" AND "explanations when dealing with my Mom" resulted in INVALUABLE lessons allowing us to enjoy my Mother's stay at our home. Due to Dr. Bayer's great advice and guidance; we felt comfortable enough to continue to see Dr. Bayer concerning a few marital and personal issues, which we had "agreed to disagree" on. However; Dr. Bayer needed to move to Georgia for personal reasons concerning extended family. We hated to see him leave but we too put "Family First" behind God!
