Dr. Garin Vick, PSY.D

Upon the advice of my attorney we entered into a mutual counseling relation with Dr. Vick. What started out as a hopeful endeavor, soon deteriorated. Warning signs and red flags began to emerge by the 2nd month. It became clear that this man could not keep his case load straight and began to make statements and promises that he would not.... could not keep to enable successful reunification. It didn't matter if the session was 40 min.... $200, if it was 50 min , $200. Flip a piece of paper.... $200. Soon I realized that my credit card was being charged non- stop and I COULD NOT ! get a billing statement or summary from him or his office. I made 4 to 5 requests for billing statements over the course of 5 to 6 months. It was only after I sent him a demand email that I received a haphazard, remedial, incomplete summary of charges... yet, $6000 had been drained from my card like it was common place business.

Communication awful- takes weeks and weeks to hear back. Doesn't return calls. Cancels appointments last minute if you even get notice! Doesn't follow through with what he says he will do and forgets what he has said or just acts like it- save your family from this money wasting business! Put my hope in this guy and had no progress after 8 months of taking my money! He is either too busy or just doesn't care about families! Reunification beware!! Not him!

This is a very helpful doctor that gave me new tools and ideas to try from the first visit. At visit 7 I feel I’m in the right place with a doctor that is competent and cares.

This parental coordinator uses financial coercion to compel you to keep going to sessions, forcing you to go to court if you don't agree to his recommendations. Highly unprofessional.

Dr. Vick always kept me informed on what was going to happen with testing, paperwork needs, appointments etc. He is incredibly easy to talk to and actually created a safe environment for our needs.
