This therapist began seeing a family member who suffers from a variety of behavioral and mental health issues. Instead of helping them to work through their issues, she amplified them and exacerbated the situation to the point where the family member is practically unrecognizable as the sweet, kind person they were before coming under her care.They are now hostile and belligerent, and engaging in acts of self destruction and increasingly isolating themselves from their loved ones.
