Dr. Gad Klein, PHD

Very thorough, made me feel very comfortable!

Dr. Klein addressed my anxieties about my upcoming procedures, (which are based solely on a previous experience at a different hospital). He reassured me that the staff is very attentive, and told me that he was making a note to personally check in on me. I felt so much better after meeting with him.

My wife had a phone interview with Dr. Klein to make sure she had reasonable expectations for surgery with Dr. Bolognese; IE it wont cure the underlying conditions, might not be 100% successful, etc. During the call he was somewhat dismissive of her symptoms going so far as to say that several of her neurological symptoms couldn't be from her neck problems, despite the screening from Dr. Bolognese specifically asking about those symptoms. He knew she has confusion issues and was a low level anxiety that is enhanced with her confusion. After the phone call she was borderline hyperventilating about how the surgery wont work and even if it does than the rehab wont be effective and her quality of life will never improve. I'm not sure how he is in person and I understand that that interview was mostly a CYA attempt by all parties involved but you shouldn't be causing undue stress to a patient pre-surgery since successful outcomes are tied directly to patient confidence and state-of-mind.

Staff was very helpful when I forgot my paperwork and helped move my appointment earlier. Dr Klein supports patient’s best interests.

Dr. Klein was knowledgeable, informative and kind. He explained his role and I left understanding what I needed to do to prepare for my upcoming neurosurgery and recovery.

Dr Klein was very professional. He listened and fully answered and explained my questions. Dr Klein was warm and caring.

I am a 70 year old male. I had a session with Dr. Klein. He was testing me for Cognitive Decline. I suspected dementia. The tests revealed I did not have dementia. He was friendly and informative and put me at ease for what could have been a traumatic experience, no matter what the results!

I so appreciated his kindness and skill at evaluating my neuro circumstance and for putting my mind at ease. I am thankful I was referred to him.

My neurologist referred me to Dr. Klein for memory issues and aphasia, affecting my work and quality of life. I explained my symptoms and presented pages of paperwork detailing my experience. My partner explained his observations of my difficulties with expressive language. Dr. Klein raised his voice at us and stated my symptoms were "impossible." He acknowledged my aphasia is possible but dismissed all other memory loss and confusion. Dr. Klein did not perform the tests I was told to expect. Instead, he asked my partner to leave. He had me take a brief memory test. I could not recall the directions and did not do the test correctly. Dr. Klein interrupted me three times during the test. He then raised his voice, said "a seven-year-old" could pass this test, and my documented issues were likely due to past trauma and my therapist should call him. I cried and said I would do that, just to escape his aggressive behavior. I even thanked him so I could get away. This is not acceptable.

Dr Klein maked me comfortable during my appointment and I would recommend him 100%.

Dr. Klein has a great bedside manner and easy to talk to. He was very knowledgeable in assessing the situation and we left with a clear understanding of what we came for.

One of the very few times I actually left a doctors appointment feeling better than when I walked in. Dr Klein has a great bedside manner, something not nearly common enough today. Very knowledgeable, approachable, and likable. I’d recommend him to anyone!

Waiting room extremely clean plenty of chairs to choose from comfortable relaxing. Receptionist greeted right away friendly very welcoming, very helpful not rushed and very courteous towards me. Medical assistant very professional, friendly and very respectful also helpful and made me feel comfortable to be there. My impression of Dr. Klein WOW !!!!!! I LOVE this Doctor seriously, he was AMAZING. Why because he talked to me as a human being ( NOT JUST ANOTHER PATIENT ) actually talked to be. Doctor Klein was very PROFESSIONAL, respectful and made me feel very relaxed. I felt after a couple of minutes, like I was not in a Doctors office but at home on my couch talking with a friend ( just very safe and relaxing atmosphere). Doctor Klein explained everything to me not once talked down to me or used big medical terms, just talked and listened. Dr. Klein is someone I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Five STARS not HIGH ENOUGH.
