Frances Abad, FNP

I would not recommend this provider to other veterans. My primary concern is the accuracy and thoroughness of the diagnoses Ms Abad makes. Her diagnoses often seem incomplete. She also has really poor bedside manner, but luckily I've had good experiences with the other doctors in her clinic. I've not heard good things from other veterans either about her overall patient care. Overall, my experience with Ms. Abad was not positive.

Frances Abad subs for my VA "primary" doctor. I don't ask doctors or caregivers to hold my hand or jump through hoops for me, and I don't expect any special attention just because I'm an old veteran ... however I have NEVER communicated (via VA "secure messaging") with any person (doctor, nurse, department or whoever) who has made me feel like they simply don't give a rat's beh about a patient, like Frances Abad makes me feel. Frances Abad has never offered to actually offer help ... she has only ever referred me to other departments at the VA. It's troubling enough to have to deal with some of the VA departments, as sometimes response times are ridiculously sluggish and other times communications are simply ignored. I would give Frances Abad a negative star rating if that was possible. It would be great of Frances Abad at least tried to fake that she cared or uttered the words, "I'll try to help." or "Maybe I can reach the department for you." I think she's useless and harmful.
