I have chronic allergies/sinusitis. I came in to see Felicia through urgent care at Carbon Health Long Beach because I couldn’t get in to my primary care doctor and was out of town (I live an hour away but was visiting family). I had a 100 degree fever, chills, terrible sinus infection symptoms that had lasted 2+ weeks, & was told to take Claritin……… I have been seeing an allergist for 20+ years, that was insulting. Regardless, I took her advice & continued to self-care & try Claritin (why not?). Two days later, I’m rushed to the ER for a severe case of pneumonia that came from a long untreated bacterial sinus infection and a build up of mucus in my lungs. Definitely never going back. I’m out $1,000s now from negligent care / misdiagnosis.
