Long story short, the receptionist is so incredibly rude, nasty, and unorganized, I wouldn't go near this place with a ten foot pole. Please read all of the reviews before even consider making an appointment. Dr. Roberts is completely complicit at this point.

Avoid Park Vision Therapy and Dr. Roberts – Feb 09, 2021

Dr. Roberts is professional and knowledgeable enough. She is sociable, listens and is easy to talk to. Her office assistant, however, is the worst you can ever deal with within the area. Her professional courtesy will depend on her mood swings and temperament during the day. It seems like she is not happy with her work and would rather not be there at all. She was very, very rude and impolite to the point of making patients feel that she was doing them a favor by being there and helping them out. Dr. Roberts would do well to replace her since it affects her business negatively. If you check, it is a recurring narrative in the reviews here and elsewhere. I wish Dr. Roberts continued success but I hope she addresses this major issue that she seems to either just neglects or disregards on purpose. It’s very bad for her business and we hope to see a more cheerful, professional, courteous staff in the future if we ever decide to go back.

Very Professional and compassionate regarding my eyesight. Dr. Robert's takes the extra time to check if your contacts and glasses are just right. Highly recommended.

My visit went amazing- this was my first eye exam in many years and it was a very thorough eye exam. I was able to get the glasses that I needed to protect my eyes while i'm at work. Dr. Roberts and her staff are friendly, funny , very up front and tell it exactly how it is. They are HONEST and not trying to give you the run around. They do their job and they do it well however, that may not be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine but don't judge her based off of that. I'd rather have an upfront doctor that does her job than a doctor giving me BS excuses just to get money from my pocket. Dr. Roberts really knows her stuff and even helped my boyfriend AFTER his eye doctor was too lazy to do his job and that says a lot about her. She may not be the Dr. for you and that's fine but she's definitely my go to.

Dr. Roberts may know about optometry but no one there seems to know insurance. She and the staff have been giving me the cold shoulder ever since they disagreed with me about what my insurance covers. I was right and they were wrong, but they haven’t said a word about it since and have been downright unpleasant.

Where to begin? Receptionist was unfriendly, short and mean spirited—borer line nasty to deal with. The chin rest for the preliminary eye exam had caked on makeup from the person before me that the receptionist was too lazy to sanitize. I have no words for the “doctor”. The selection of glasses is laughable. I could write a lot but I’ll leave it at that. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional in my 40 years.

Dr. Roberts is easy to either adore or dislike. The eyecare that she provides is outstanding and she really knows her stuff. She's dedicated to the eye health of her patients and her advice is excellent . But she doesn't suffer fools easily. She's very intelligent and has a non-traditional outlook on many things. I personally enjoy her strong, quirky opinions and we've had some lively discussions, but I can see where that isn't for everyone. Don't let that put you off from getting topnotch care.

Receptionist who answers phone is rude and lazy. I called to make an appointment for my husband and I was totally shocked by her demeanor on the phone and it turns out she forgot to put his appointment in correctly that day and never sent out the new patient paperwork . Someone else called me back who seem to know what she was doing and asked me what time appt. was for & told that paperwork for new patient was never sent out. 77 degrees office temp on a 95• day

Very unprofessional and rude staff. I went to pick up my son’s glasses at 9:45 am, I called the office to make sure they were open. And when I got there was closed. I had to go to work couldn’t wait till 10 and the dr and specially the secretary were there very rude telling me that they were closed which I understood but since I called earlier they could it done an exception due to misunderstanding, bad customer service, they refused in a rude manner, I will look for another dr.

Due to the unprofessional behavior and inappropriate manner of handling clients/customers - this business just lost 2 clients. First thing that occurs when you walk in the front door is first impression. If you have employees behind the counter AND the doctor unable to properly communicate and take care of clients so that they ultimately return, no wonder you're lacking clientele.

My son started seeing them weekly for eye therapy. Shortly after my daughter "needed" therapy as well and we had two back to back appointments once a week. We arrived one week and were told due to an increase in new patients & a shortage of appt times that the therapist would be seeing both kids during my sons original time slot. However we were still required to pay two co-pays which we paid at every visit. Then after we stopped going we rec'd a bill for over $800. Seriously? Be aware

Worst doctor I've ever been to and I've had Bad DrS in past but she tops the cake. I sat in the waiting room which was a nightmare, I waited for over an hour. The doctor shout to the receptionist personal information about conversation she was having about a client from the exam rooms to her receptionists. She was screaming at a patient that had called. She asked details about my mental illness that were inappropriate . She was so rude, nasty attitude and soooo unprofessional. Stay far far away

I accompanied someone to an appointment with Dr. Roberts and just sitting in the waiting room was a nightmare. The doctor shout so personal conversations from the exam rooms to her receptionists. We were scheduled at 10 and she walked around the office for an hour with no other patients before taking us in. She then proceeded to call another patient stupid in front of us who called on the phone to ask a question. Unprofessional and extremely rude.
