Would not recommend for women with ADHD
Telehealth
Was diagnosed with innattentive ADHD a few years ago from a previous and great psychiatrist that realized my depression and anxiety stemmed from ADHD. Unfortunately I had to leave that psychiatrist and was placed with Erik Haley. Long story short I trusted him with trying a new medication and being taken off of my stimulant; which had previously given me the most success, and it went badly. After asking to be placed back on my stimulant because of how much I was struggling to live he refused. It wasn't until I asked that he documented the refusal in my notes that he allowed a low dosage, which barely helped. He encouraged me to find a new psychiatrist for what I assume is his discomfort in prescribing stimulants to people like me, but with our healthcare system that was going to take too long for how badly I was doing at the time. My previous psychiatrist took me back immediately after explaining the situation, but my experience with Erik traumatized me and affects me to this day.
