Dr. Erich Haezebrouck, PSY.D

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Erich Haezebrouck who was at least 30 minutes late. Right off the bat, the provider dismissed my concerns by stating that I probably don’t have bipolar disorder because 'it’s very rare,' without even taking the time to listen to my history or symptoms. He seemed biased and uninterested in an actual diagnosis, already set in his beliefs before hearing anything from me.As a Navy veteran, I found his attitude particularly offensive. He implied I haven’t been to a combat zone just because my files wouldn’t load on his laptop—something that can easily be verified through public logs, medals, and ribbons. This kind of dismissive behavior and lack of professionalism was incredibly frustrating and made me feel like my service and experiences were being invalidated. I would not recommend this provider to anyone, especially veterans seeking proper care and understanding.
