I was under the care of 3 doctors for a back injury and was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication along with opioids for pain. At a routine visit with Erica, I brought her up to speed on my care. She informed me of problems that could stem from opioids and prescribed a medication to take care of the problem. She also asked if she could be the lead on pain control, it would be safer and healthier if one person were regulating pain meds. I agreed.
