She's youthful, which could excuse the lack of self awareness, to an extent. There was zero effort to disguise the low yellow frequency of voice that indicates disdain for the less fortunate. It seemed like she didn't even know it was a thing. She wrote in my chart twice that I've had the relevant condition for 'as long as I could remember' I never said that, and it's completely inaccurate. Also made a remark about my Dad's heart condition I've never met or spoken to my Dad. Maybe she practices improv with Jesse 'ED Bro' Nichols, he has a fondness for fiction as well.

Emily listens intently to what you have to say and is very pleasant.

Well, I wrote a letter on my chart over week ago to say i was not happy how she treated me and was going to find new provider.. Emily turns around and sends me a certified letter saying she can no longer be my provider.. So was that to make her look good and me look bad.. Certified stays in my record so any doctor will see it and now no chance of finding a new doctor.So I guess they turn it around to cover their butts.

She gets an idea in her head of what the patient needs and will not listen to the patient. My visit with her was not comfortable as she did not look at me. She spent the time typing so that when she figured we were done she turned off the computer and left the room. That was it! I found out later that she was going ahead with her plan for me and there was no changing her mind. She had even scheduled my next appointment with her without asking me if that day and time was convient for me. That was the end of my visits to Emily Yelenich. I think she might be a decent provider in a few years after she realizes she is not any better than her patients.

Would not recommend. On my daughter's 1st visit (19 yrs old) she recommended complete mastectomy due to family history. Ridiculous. Scared my daughter to death.
