Beware of surprise billing
I saw NP Broeseker on Jan 10, 2025. I booked the office visit expecting a $70 copay for a specialist visit, and paid that copay upon check-in at the office. However I later received a $741 bill for 'hospital services.' At no point did NP Broeseker or her front staff tell me that there would be additional billing for 'hospital services.' I even signed the 'no surprise billing act' disclaimer which requires hospitals to make good faith estimates of cost.
