Dr. Emanuel Maidenberg, PHD

When I called UCLA, I was given the phone number to this quack. He scheduled me for an appointment for no apparent reason. He didn’t even try to treat me or provide me with any type of advise. After seeing me for 3 minutes, he gave me a phone number to call back the appointment center. He also didn’t even mention that he is a psychologist and a not a psychiatrist. Terrible experience and I expected some empathy and quality of care, or at least some kind of care from someone who works in mental health. I’ve read several similar reviews of him, so be warned.

I called booked an appointment just to get medication renewed. I was booked for an evaluation with Dr. Maidenberg. He spoke too fast (as if he was in a hurry), ignored my questions, and ended up diagnosing me with three disorders in the span of ten minutes that other psychiatrists didn't think I had. Furthermore, he did not renew my medication, and ended up just giving me a phone number for the clinic I should have been referred to in the first place. Didn't seem to care about my actual health.

Absolutely wonderful! Extremely kind, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. Truly wants to help his patients get better and ultimately has their best interest in mind. Highly recommend.
