Dr. Elizabeth Perez, DC

I had checked with my Medicare Advantage plan prior to my appointment and rechecked with the Perez receptionist. The last sheet of their paperwork was a signature page stating that I would PAY ALL FEES IN FULL at the time of service. I wrote a note on it stating that I would be using my insurance and paying my copays at each visit, and did not sign it. After 1 hour 15 minutes, Dr. Perez came in and said, “There is a problem with your insurance. It does not cover exams, and you will have to pay $125 up front for your exam today.” I told her that the exam would be part of the treatment covered by insurance, but she would not listen. Calling my insurance once again today, I learned that I was correct, that my insurance covers the exam, 2 x-rays and manipulation treatments plus 6 additional treatments. I filed a grievance complaint with my insurance company today. She obviously wanted cash, therefore she denied my insurance coverage. I left in pain and without treatment, wasting 2 hours.

You immediately feel welcome in the office. The staff is polite and friendly and gives you all the attention you need. Dr Perez explains everything she does to you and tells you why you need to do certain things. She takes the time to listen and learn what your issues are and then she suggests what she has to offer you and tells you how her services will improve your health and well being.
