Libby provided great exercises which helped me discover a lot about myself. She was extremely insightful regarding my toxic relationships with my parents. Her calming and trustful nature allowed me to come out of my shell more than I ever have, actually enabling me to express my feelings through song. The best compliment that I can give her is that she learned very well. I admit that I miss her as my therapist very much. As I found out more about myself, I became a little afraid of whether I should continue in that I did not know if I would be ready to become a “new me.” This led to the termination of my therapy. I feel bad because progress brings fear when you know you are not going to be hiding from the world much longer. If I could have kept these fears to myself instead of verbalizing them, I would probably still have Libby as my counselor. My great mistake. Libby was a godsend to me. I have not been able to find anyone even close to her in bringing out my hidden spirit. My loss.
