Dr. Dustan Barabas, PSY

Dr. Barabas was very informative and kind. If you need to get a psychological test for act 235 I would highly recommend him. Very professional.

Meeting Dr. Barabas, was an “easy-going experience.” He listened to me, and he helps me get clear on my thoughts about what I want to work on in life. I grew up during simpler times and “social skills” was not my thing. In my 70’s, the drama in my life hit an “all-time high” and combined with medical issues, my life, as I knew it was over. I was widowed, retired, hard of hearing, diabetic, living with P.A.D. and recently diagnosed with CHF. I had to go through a couple of years of surgeries and have been navigating a difficult medical system, while still being a dad, a grandfather, a VET, and a “fur-baby daddy.” Life is not over, so learning how I want to live it, is what I share about in my therapy sessions. I like that Dr. Barabas always has a pleasant smile. He is a supportive therapist and he has helped me out with personal stuff. Life is better now.

Dr. Barabas has really helped me with severe anxiety and depression. He uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help me challenge negative thoughts. He is flexible in scheduling and has reasonable rates. He really cares about his patients and wants them to get better. He is very honest in his feedback and his practice. I'm grateful he continues to help me conquer my fears.

Try set set appointment with him, and was denied because of me being HOH. I can talk, I just can't hear. I have a device that assist me in communication. ADA would not like this at all.

Dr. Barabas was very helpful in helping me with my journey to getting weightloss surgery. He is very kind, patient and it's wonderful to know that I can always go back if I have any issues as I proceed. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Barabas on and off for several years due to depression and anxiety from having a chronic illness. He has helped me tremendously with not only my mood, but with helping me deal with and accept my life with a progressive disease. I am completely comfortable with him and find him really easy to be open with.

I went through several psychologists before meeting dr barabas. He is far easier to talk to and unlike 2 of the others, desnt interrupt every 5 seconds with why do you feel like this or what makes you act this way. I can go on for 20 mins and when im done with a rant he is right there ready to discuss. He is also very friendly and straightfoward.

The guy cherry picks his patients - came recommended to me. I called on behalf of someone who is aligned to his specialty. He declined to help after asking a lots of questions . Tried deflecting to some new associates he hired in his practice. Money maker!
