Would never recommend him, especially for a child. I took my son here and he has zero compassion. We booked appointment and was put with the first available doctor (I should have known he was. I good when he was available the next day) anyway he came in walked to his seat, didn’t even introduce himself. Very rude and no bedside manner. Terrible with kids and wouldn’t recommend for an adult.

Terrible experience in Rockford – Feb 06, 2019

I have never had an appointment that was less satisfying. I have a Ph.D. And my husband and son are M.D.s. I also have a daughter who is an orthodontist. This person is rude and entitled. I would recommend an evaluation at any mall Optomitrist over this clinic.

This Dr. used to give excellent exams. Now he is only too anxious to refer you to a surgeon with only a cursory exam and no new prescription. I was uncomfortable with this and had an exam elsewhere, which was far more thorough, and with new glasses no need for any urgency in getting any type of surgery.
After talking to others about this it seems if you are over about 60 he wants to refer you for cataract surgery right away regardless of the severity of them. What's wrong with this picture ?
