Doronit Shlank-Bloomenthal, LICSW

Doronit has been extremely helpful with helping to understand my issues and creating strategies to work through them. She is knowledgeable in addictions. She has provided helpful follow ups and resources and would highly recommend.

During my first visit with Doronit she asked me casually, "you don't have a trauma history, do you?" in those words. I found this to be very odd and insensitive. She also told me that she had never heard of depersonalization outside of PTSD patients, which I found surprising. During each session after that she behaved as if she were very uncomfortable and did not want me there, asking tentatively whether I wanted to meet again. She acted very confused about my standard anxiety symptoms weekly.
