I sought this provider for my bipolar and ADHD management, expecting an in-depth treatment plan. Our bi-weekly sessions were intended to monitor my progress and adjust medications, but they often ended within 15-20 minutes, yet I was billed for full sessions. The abrupt cessation of my treatment, due to the provider's decision to stop accepting Medicaid, left me questioning her commitment to patient welfare, especially for those in Boise who rely on such services. This experience, particularly the provider’s decision to now only accept cash pay or other insurance, calls her professional integrity into question. It’s crucial for potential clients to consider these aspects critically. The concern lies in the balance of patient welfare against billing practices and the provider’s consistency in providing thoughtful, patient-focused care. I advise caution and a thorough vetting of her medication management and patient care ethics.

Donna is awesome! Shes the best mental health doctor I’ve ever had. She understands what I’m saying and she recommends medications based on what I’ve told her. She doesn’t just recommend random meds for no reason. Also she doesn’t rush appointments either like a lot of psychiatrists tend to do. She spends time talking to you about your life and what not so that when she makes recommendations on medications you know it’s right for you. Shes also very honest but not in a rude way. I appreciate that she tells it like it is and gives her honest opinion because it’s always constructive and her delivery is very kind and caring. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new mental health provider in the valley.
