He was very friendly and had some insight into my condition. I stopped going as did a friend of mine who was going to him. He was almost falling asleep during sessions. He was the only therapist in close to 40 years that nodded off during sessions.

Every person should seek a mental tune up when not in crisis. Don has seen me through many challenges and the thing is he helps you find the solutions. He doesn't spoon feed you. It fosters independence and healing. It has been 10 years since I have seen him and tools he gave me echo into every step of my future. I am so grateful. His skill set is comprehensive and at a mastery level.

Don is a kind and gentle man who means well. For individuals experiencing mild levels of distress who just want someone to talk/vent to, he may be a useful resource. Unfortunately, I did not benefit from his therapeutic style. I was bothered by his frequent lateness in starting sessions, even after I discussed the issue with him in session. Additionally, he seemed to have difficulty incorporating information that I had told him previously in the current session. I discontinued after 3 months.
