I started seeing Ms. Montalvo after the passing of my mother. She was highly recommended to me by a close friend of mine. I was incredibly impressed with her compassion and professionalism. She was able to schedule me an appointment quickly and was always on time and available for my needs. She never missed an appointment, she was always incredibly friendly and eager to help. She was completely present during our sessions, and actively engaged. During the sessions I felt understood, I felt safe and I began the healing process. It was because of the help Ms Montalvo offered me that I was able to learn the tools necessary to grief in a healthy manner. I highly recommend you speak with her, if you are open to healing, she will help guide you there.

Extremely unprofessional. Arrived for my 9am appt however Denise Montalvo had another client in session instead. She let me know after that appointment was over an hour later that she took me off her list after I reached out to her saying I was not interested in services anymore. I never reached out to her especially with that message considering I am in need of help, looked forward to seeing her, and am there for my appointment. Our last contact was in person when we finished the session and rescheduled the next one. She refused to believe anything I said, insisted she received a message from me however had no proof and walked away and closed the door in my face. This is especially unprofessional in the mental health field. She has further caused distress and confusion rather than being there to help me. A simple explanation of the truth or giving the benefit of the doubt would have been a lot better than lying and accusing your client.
