Denise Laliberte, LCSW

Dense was helpful, supportive & informative. I really felt comfortable with her. Denise is easy to talk to & pretty calm & laid back. She is quite flexible wqith scheduling an appointment with her.

She was very kind and a good listener, but she "forgot" about 3 appointments (2 in a row, even), and didn't show up for them. That didn't instill a great deal of confidence, and I figured it was time to move on.

Ms. LaLiberte was wholly unpleasant about many of the things we talked about. For instance, each time I talked about looking forward to having children with my fiancee, she reminded me of her opinion: get a dog. When I had to cancel a session due to a car accident totaling my car, and my not being able to drive, she charged me $55 for "late cancellation." She is now threatening to take me to collections for this $55 charge, due to one prior chronic illness-related cancellation (because I started vomiting in the middle of the day). Obviously, I won't be scheduling with her again. If you struggle with chronic illness, or you're at all interested in having a family, I would strongly suggest literally anyone else.

Denise was recommended to me by a friend. I"m so glad I was able to get an appointment with her the day after I first contacted her. She was very easy to talk to, seemed very concerned about me, was trustworthy, patient & confident with providing me with what I needed. She encouraged me to seek some answers by myself while encouraging & supporting me. Denise really made me think about how to help myself. I would not hesitate to see her again if I needed to as well as recommending Denise to others needing a competent therapist. Thank you, Courtney Benjamin

Denise called me this morning to "thank" me for the lovely review then before I could say a word she hung up on me again.I started to speak and tell her that it's her fault that I didn't show for my second appointment because she said hold off until I heard back from her. However she hung up on me already. So I called her right back and of course she didn't answer. I left her a lengthy voicemail stating that I intended to still forward my experience to AETNA so that they could re-evaluate her.

I called to ask for potential help (she made sure to correct my pronunciation of her name) and after mentioning my mood instability asocciated with bipolar disorder (which is mentioned as a specialty on psychology today) her entire approach changed. She directly stated "Well for YOUR problems you should contact Medicaid and they MIGHT be able to help you" WOW. Way to instill hope.

Denise was very helpful as I struggled with the death of my father. Denise was patient, understanding & wouldn't push me into topics I wasn't ready for @ the time. Denise helped me identify myself, what I wanted & what my needs were aside from my Father's I trust Denise as a therapist totally! Denise is easy to talk to, down to earth, not stuffy like some therapists, trustworthy, caring, kind & knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Denise to any one seeking a great therapist!

Denise takes the time to listen, and asks questions to gain a better understanding of your situation and feelings. She has always been kind and makes helpful observations about my situation. Scheduling has always been easy, and she is understanding about cancellations. I have seen other therapists, but I'm glad I found her. She has been the best I have seen. She provides a safe environment for you to share your feelings and problems. After seeing Denise I won't see anyone else

She's very rude and if you miss one appointment she won't see you again even if your kids are sick at home and have no one to watch them. I called to see if I could fix things with her and she said no and told me to get a computer and find another therapist. I will never go back to her again. Very rude lady .
