I have had the pleasure of working with Dena Tranen for the last 7 and ½ years. When I met Dena, I was at the lowest point of my life. I had just been admitted into a residential treatment program after relentless suicidal ideation. While I thought I would have a difficult time opening up to Dena, she made the therapeutic process a safe place for me, so safe and natural that my sessions with Dena are the highlight of my week, even almost 8 years later. Dena has a long list of accomplishments and is well versed in many types of therapeutic practice but what I love the most about Dena is she believes in her clients 100%. She has a client centered and caring approach that she tailors for each unique situation. She informs her work with the therapeutic frameworks she knows well but is always willing to hear feedback from her clients if something doesn’t feel right. Dena has helped me with so much over these years but most valuable is the relationship with myself. I am so grateful for her!
