Dr. Merrifield Saved My Life
What a caring, compassionate, wise, professional woman. I saw her after my husband (love of my life for over 30 years and best friend) passed from brain cancer. I was totally broken with our 2 German Shepherd Dogs (no children) and wanted to die but didn’t want to leave our dogs. One thing she said, and I’d told her I was a Christian, when I said I wanted to die. “Think about this. There is a window and you and - - - - can see each other on each side of the window. You so much want to be together. You know suicide is a sin. The second you take your life - - - - ‘s face is gone FOREVER. There is no going back.” Boy did that stick and was the day I could really accept her help. Saw her once a week for 4 months.
