Initial visit went well. I thought I had found someone to help me cope with my life challenges, but I had to reschedule an appointment because of a dental emergency. Then had to cancel that appointment because of emergency room visit (all day event ending in hospital stay). My text was not acknowledged in any way. I felt I was ghosted by this provider because I had to reschedule & then cancel. The unpredictablity and loss of control in my life was one reason I needed to see a therapist. I thought the total lack of response or acknowledgment of my text was unprofessional at best and uncaring at worst. Ghosting is not something to do to someone who is trying to reach out for help. I will not even try to go back to this therapist.
