***Surprise billing alert*** I came in for scheduled check up today. I was informed of an unpaid balance from last year for $130.00.Last Year when I made appointment and visited, I was very careful to request just a basic eye exam (100% insurance covered) and nothing else. Dr. Deborah Moon insisted that she use a machine to examine my eyes that was not part of the basic eye exam I had requested. She told me there was normally a charge to this, and told the assistant to not bill me for it. I got billed anyway. I see now other reviews where they have done this to other customers. ***Buyer beware!****

Dr. Moon is fantastic! I had a very pleasant experience at her office recently for a routine annual eye exam. She was very thorough in her examination and explained everything throughout the process. She has a kind and personable disposition and was always courteous and professional. Her facilities are state-of-the-art, and her entire staff was warm and welcoming. I could not recommend her more highly!

Dr. Moon is the very best in the U.S., hands down. She healed my eyes, when I injured them. She listens, finds solutions, is smart, professional, and caring. I love love her, and her office. In addition, Dr. Moon has the very best selection of trendy frames, and an amazing optician who finds the best frames/glasses for each individual face shape. Thank you, Dr. Moon, for taking great care of my eye health. I am blessed by you. :)

Dr. Moon is an awesome eye doctor. She is very nice and very professional. In-house optics department does a great job servicing my glasses' needs and upkeep of my glasses and are also very nice. Dr. Moon and her staff do a very complete and thorough eye exam and appropriate needed tests when needed. Great for emergency situations too.

Dr Moon is very thorough and spends time to explain everything. It is an expensive examination if you don't have insurance. The eyeglasses at Lakeside are very expensive, when I told them that I was going to order my glasses on the internet they told me it would be an extra 25 dollars for the pupillary distance. I'd just spent $183 on the exam. I objected to that and the optician was very snippy about it. I was happy with the exam but I won't be back due to the attitude of the staff.
