A therapist that ignites hope!
Telehealth
Dr. Carter is a great therapist. She exudes compassion, empathy, and patience. She also has a way of igniting hope within in a very comforting way. I initially wondered if virtual meetings would be an issue for me; however, it worked well for me. I would recommend Dr Carter in a heartbeat!

I had a good feeling when we first met. I didn't know what my goal was. Maybe, I just needed a "sounding board". She gave me space to ramble and explore my Issues. I used the time between visits to mull over all the things that bothered me and what we discussed. I finally realized I had to accept my physical limitations and quit offering help to my sister (whom I live with), which just stressed her out because of my high risk for falls. I had to quit feeling guilty as well. I talked and Dr Carter listened while I figured it all out...with her support. That in my opinion is what a good therapist does...listens and validates when one is on the right track. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders, thanks to Dr. Taylor. I, having a degree in Psychology, was hindering myself rather than helping me, and I kept sabotaging previous attempts at therapy. Dr. Taylor made it work for me. I thank her every day. I haven't felt this good, emotionally, in a long time!
