She is a cold woman.
I'm not sure why she's in this business. She obviously doesn't actually care about certain patients. If you don't make any progress she will resent you & stop giving quality care. Will repeat same useless information while rolling her eyes & acting so annoyed. Doesn't even try to hide it. Came into a session, while looking through her notes says, 'oh you're THAT one' Dehumanizing experience & I regret opening up to her just to be judged & treated this way.

So I contacted her about seeking therapy and I advised her that I had insurance through my husbands employer. She had asked me about myself and my past but then told me she would see me but couldn’t help me fully because she was not certified in trauma therapy. She then sent me pricing through an edoc system. I come to the realization that those prices out of pocket were not within my means. She then emailed me back telling me that I needed to see if my husbands employer had an EAP. We stop communicating for a short while and I contacted said employer for EAP info. She was listed. So I contacted her again about services and it took 2 weeks for her to get back with me and when she did she resent a previous email that had a past date on it. She then proceeded to call and get information about the contract with the EAP and needed contact numbers. So I willingly gave the information to her. She then calls me and says that I am not covered (even though I am and she had confirmed it with the initial email/phone calls) and I would have to pay out of pocket even though she is in a contract with my insurance provider. She also kept pressing on the fact that “ you are responsible for the payment of services” and telling me payment will be paid in full every session or there will not be a session. She kept pressing the matter. Again it was not the fact I didn’t have the money for the services it was that out of pocket was extremely high but with insurance was affordable. But again she kept pressing payment and then I finally told her that I will have my husband call and figure it all out with his employer. But even when I was trying to explain myself she was talking over me, telling me not to interrupt, wouldn’t let me finish a sentence and ultimately stereotyping. I appreciate how quick she was to respond the initial contact but after that it was down hill.
