David Torres, LCSW

I started seeing David while attending North Central College. He saw me at my worst, diagnosed with severe depression. It was a lifetime ago, but what he did was nothin less than astounding and inspirational. Here’s why..David knew when to simply be there for you like a friend who had all the right answers. He humbly knew the questions you didn’t even know you needed to ask. He knew when I was ready to Grow, but it wasn’t forceful. It was more of a personal challenge to work at. It was ultimately my decision which path to take.He would never BS me or be inauthentic. One thing I didn’t understand at first, is that he could see my potential already, and knew that life would get better than the rainstorm I was in. He made me keep trying to swim to a shore not seen. Trust is everything. His way should be taught in classes, for he is an artist in his craft. In one sentence, David helped me be the man I always wanted to be, and I am eternally grateful.
